With Mercury retrograde until June 3rd, it’s time to reflect inwards. Perhaps visit your past, and work on yourself in that respect. Avoid doing things that stress you out and relax. If you’re starting a new project, take on the project light-heartedly and be ready for some life lessons that may come your way.
As a collective, we have been feeling a lot of shifts lately. Pay attention to your intuitions. What intentions are you bringing to your daily life and wellbeing?
With that being said, how can you apply this to your pole journey? How can you consciously practice to improve your flow?
What is flow? Do you ever listen to a song and feel yourself move to the beat of the music without any choreography or mapped out sequence?
Flow is also a state of mind that lets you be creative and have fun. Even if you’re a beginner, you can work on your dance flow. It might seem scary at first and feeling like you’re constantly in your head. Surrender to your dance and let the moment take over. Close your eyes if it helps. Feel what you need to feel and be present in the moment. This can be done with or without a pole.
May is the time of year where flowers bloom and showcase their beauty. We curated an exclusive 90 min Spotify playlist for freestyling with different genres of music and give you an opportunity to bloom like a flower — accompanied by a book recommendation to help with your pole flow development and freestyle.
